Important Note:  Please forgive me.  Due to my short attention span and the fact that we have a DVD Release and our World Premiere coming up in no time, I’ve let this page get rusty (since March!).  Hopefully, I’ll get back to it in the next site overhaul, but for now there’s plenty of fresh content in the meantime!

Family movies are a dime-a-dozen these days.  But fantastic family entertainment is hard to find.   That’s why we’ve compiled this top 10 list of the best-selling new family movies on DVD.  We want to help you add quality options your library that the whole family will enjoy.

All titles on this list have been released on DVD within the last year and are Dove Family-Approved, which means that the videos are safe for family viewing.

3		Ponyo An animated adventure centered on a 5-year-old boy and his relationship with a goldfish princess who longs to become human.
4		Where the Wild Things Are An adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s classic children’s story, where Max, a disobedient little boy sent to bed without his supper, creates his own world–a forest inhabited by ferocious wild creatures that crown Max as their ruler.
5		Planet 51 American astronaut Captain Charles “Chuck” Baker lands on Planet 51 thinking he’s the first person to step foot on it. To his surprise, he finds that this planet is inhabited by little green people who are happily living in a white picket fence world, and whose only fear is that it will be overrun by alien invaders…like Chuck!
6		Astro Boy Set in futuristic Metro City, Astro Boy is about a young robot with incredible powers created by a brilliant scientist in the image of the son he has lost.
7		Hachi A drama based on the true story of a college professor’s bond with the abandoned dog he takes into his home.
8		Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs The most delicious event since macaroni met cheese. Inspired by the beloved children’s book, the film focuses on a town where food falls from the sky like rain.
9		Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian Security guard Larry Daley infiltrates the Smithsonian Institute in order to rescue Jedediah and Octavius, who have been shipped to the museum by mistake.
10		Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs When Sid’s attempt to adopt three dinosaur eggs gets him abducted by their real mother to an underground lost world, his friends attempt to rescue him.
